One of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to consume your medical cannabis is by extracting the cannabinoids from the dried flowers (bud) into oil and making something edible with that oil. We find making chocolate is easy, healthy and very tasty.
Here’s how:
Ingredients:
-
½ cup organic coconut oil
-
½ cup organic honey (or maple syrup)
-
1 ½ cups raw organic cacao power
-
4 grams of herbs
Step 1:Decarboxylate (active) herbs.
Grind the herbs and bake in the oven at 220 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Step 2: Extract the active ingredients from ther herbs.
Mix the decarboxylated herbs into the coconut oil, and cook on the stove or crock pot on LOW for 1-2 hours. Do not exceed 240 degrees F.
Step 3: Strain herbs out the oil.
Step 4: Add the honey to the oil.
Step 5: Add cacao powder until the mixture is thick, but still runny.
Step 6: Spread the mixture into a small container, about the size of a sandwich tupperware. It will be about half an inch thick.
Step 7: Put into the freezer until it is set.
Step 8: Cut into half inch squares.
